Bird Food

I don't know about you, but my cooking is horrible. A couple nights ago, I attempted to make soft shell tacos for my family. I wanted to make the tortillas myself and was thinking they would turn out similar to the tortillas at Pancheros. Unfortunately they did not, but my family choked pieces down to not hurt my feelings. I have a lot of left over tortillas though.

I'm not fond of wasting food. Thus I am to making some tacos for the birds and squirrels (I'm sure they would enjoy it!)

I have pulled out my peanut butter and bird seed. I think I did something similar with pine cones in second grade.

I have placed a scoop of peanut butter on the tortilla and am spreading it to keep the bird seed sticking to the taco.

After the peanut butter has been spread, I am going to sprinkle the bird seed evenly on the tortilla.

Next, I am folding the tortilla and then I will tie it up to hang on a tree outside.

I found a branch high enough that my dog would not be able to snatch.

I am watching the snack like a hawk from my window for any takers.

If I see one, I'll update with a picture! :) super pumped!

Feel free to comment or let me know if you have a good recipe for tortillas! I think I may have to use a particular flour for tortilla making...
